Kyve Terms of Service Center

1. Introduction

Welcome to Kyve. By accessing or using our escrow services, API, or mobile tools, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please discontinue use immediately.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Kyve. By using our services on behalf of a business or organization, you confirm that you are authorized to bind that entity to these terms.

3. Privacy

Your use of Kyve is subject to our Privacy Policy which explains how we collect, process, and protect your information.

4. Escrow Transactions

• Funds are locked securely in escrow until agreed conditions are completed.
• Buyers, sellers, and creators must provide accurate information.
• Escrow funds are released only when both parties confirm or when a dispute decision is reached.
• Users must not conduct side deals or transactions outside the platform to bypass escrow fees or policies.

5. User Conduct

• Users are responsible for any content they submit including messages and evidence.
• Do not impersonate others or provide false information.
• Do not attempt to hack, disrupt, or exploit the Kyve system.
• Do not use Kyve for illegal purposes including fraud, money laundering, or restricted goods.

6. API Usage

Developers may interact with Kyve using API keys. API keys must be kept confidential. Abuse, excessive requests, or unauthorized integrations may result in suspension.

7. Intellectual Property

• You retain ownership of content you submit, but grant Kyve permission to use it for providing and improving services.
• Kyve retains ownership of its trademarks, code, features, and proprietary systems.

8. Disputes and Resolution

If a conflict occurs, users may open a dispute. Kyve will review submitted evidence and make a fair decision. The final decision is binding.

9. Termination

Users may delete their account at any time. Kyve reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts for violations, fraud, or security risks.

10. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

Kyve services are provided as is. We do not guarantee the actions of buyers or sellers. Kyve is not responsible for losses resulting from user negligence, external payment failures, or activities outside our platform.

11. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These terms are governed by the laws of Nigeria. Unresolved disputes will be handled through arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act. The arbitration venue will be Abuja, Nigeria. Each party bears its own legal costs.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service occasionally. Continued use after any change signifies acceptance of the updated terms.
